Cisco Anyconnect Client For Mac

This document describes how to establish a connection with the AnyConnect VPN client software on a computer running Mac OS X 10.6 and newer. Click on Applications Cisco Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.
The VPN Client will start. Type in the server name. Click Select to proceed.
The VPN package is greyed out (as shown in the screen capture below) due to incomplete/unclean installation of VPN client. To resolve the issue, please follow the steps below to remove the Cisco Anyconnect VPN client from your Mac OS X and re-install it again. Note: If your Mac user account has no password (a blank password), you must give it a password before proceeding the procedures below.
Start Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client a. Open the start menu and click on any blank space. Start typing “anyconnect” and you will see the program icon pop up. Click on the AnyConnect icon to start the client c. If you would like to access this program more quickly in the future, right click the icon and select “pin to start.” 8. Please refer to Apple support site to change your password. From Finder menu, choose Go and then click Utilities. Click Terminal.app App. Type the following at the command prompt, press Enter, then enter Mac user account account password. Sudo pkgutil -forget com.cisco.pkg.anyconnect.vpn.
